WORK EXPERIENCE MAY 2024 - OCT 2025 TTARP – T & T ACCOCIATION FOR RETIRED PERSONS POSITION: TELEMARKETING / CUSTOMER CARE (PROJECT) Duties: • Contact ALL Members due for Renewal two (2) months prior to Expiry Date ensuring Members Cards are Active; • Conversion activities: Contact Members who are Inactive ensuring Renewal of Cards; Provide Weekly Report: Renewed; Not Interested; No Contact etc. regarding of Members retained; • Enter Payments for Promoters on system for processing; • Edit / Liaise with Discount Providers obtaining update on Company Profile; Update System and forward to External Party for Printing next Version’ • Generate Reports: Sales by Locations; Monthly Sales and Top Promoters Report for Marketing Manager; • Develop and put in place “Receipt Register” – to Track Receipt Books given and update Date Returned to Promoters; • Check Receipt Numbers on Balance Sheets submitted by Promoters ensuring ALL Receipts are accounted for. Immediately bring to Management attention any “Missing” Receipts Sept 2012 – NOV 2022 PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANY POSITION: CONSULTANT / UNDERWRITER Duties: • Preparation of ALL BONDS immediately upon request – Performance, Advance Payments, Tender / Bid Bonds according to “Principals’ request (Demand and Conditional) • Preparation and thorough examinations of Policy Contracts; • Ensuring ALL policyholders are fully compliant based on Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago AML/ CTF Guidelines. This includes contacting clients, brokers and agents directly to obtain outstanding compliance documents i.e. Certificate of Incorporation, Annual Returns, I.D.’s, Utility Bill etc. • Monitor and liaise with “High Risks” Clients upon binding accounts and report to Manager on a weekly basis. Responsible for servicing ALL Multi-National Accounts with GPW in excess of US $260,000,000.00 OTHER FUNCTIONS PERFORMED AT ALGICO EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/SVP/GENERAL MANAGER Provided efficient secretarial and administrative support to the SVP/General Manager to ensure smooth functioning and timely reporting to local, regional and home office senior management. ASSISTANT TO THE CORPORATE SECRETARY (SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/SVP/GENERAL MANAGER) • • • • • Assisted Corporate Secretary of ALGICO, ALGICO Properties Limited in administering of the Board of Directors and Sub-committees of the Board in accordance with the Company’s Articles and Memorandum and other legal requirements (By-Laws); Responsible for ensuring updated and accurate records/registers of the company policies are translated and practiced; Prepare and provided Directors with copies of resolutions or extracts of minutes where appropriate; Prepare and release notices of BOD and AGM as required; Liaised with Outside Counsels, Shareholders, Directors concerning general corporate policies. UNDERWRITER TRAINEE – CASUALTY/MARINE UNDERWRITING DEPARTMENT  Prepare and dispatch policy documents, renewal certificates, notices, cancellations, endorsements within stipulated timeframe to producers, agents and insureds.  Assist in processing Underwriting Analysis Sheets (UAS) via AIMS network program. JUNIOR SECRETARY – PROPERTY/CASUALTY UNDERWRITING DEPARTMENT Duties:  Provide overall secretarial support to Underwriting Manager.  Type routine correspondence from written drafts or verbal instructions.  Read, sort route incoming mail and faxes.  Receive and screen incoming calls, visitors, set up and confirm daily appointments.  Assist in preparation and dispatching of policy documents, renewal certificates, notices, cancellations, endorsements for Property/Casualty and Homeowners/Householders lines of business.  Provide secretarial support to SVP/General Manager in the absence of Administrative Assistant. FILING CLERK Duties:  Control movement of policy files and maintain policy log of files removed/returned from file room.  Replace files on a timely basis and in an orderly manner (within 1 working day)  Purge on a quarterly basis all inactive policy files  Replenish stock of various document forms and stationery which are required by the department(s).
