Inventory Management & Forecasting: The ability to monitor stock levels, predict future demand (Demand Planning), and optimize inventory to prevent shortages or excess surplus (e.g., using JIT—Just-in-Time—or safety stock models).

Transportation Management (Logistics): Expertise in coordinating delivery routes, selecting carriers, freight management, and optimizing transport resources to reduce costs and delivery times.

Procurement & Sourcing: Strong skills in negotiating with suppliers, handling purchase orders, and managing vendor relationships to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.

Data Analysis & Digital Proficiency: The capacity to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets (sales trends, performance metrics/KPIs) to make informed, strategic decisions.

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with industry tools like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, e.g., SAP or Oracle SCM), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and advanced use of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

Warehouse Operations: Knowledge of warehouse layout optimization, storage systems, and managing the movement of goods within the facility, including handling and safety compliance.

Regulatory Compliance: Understanding local and international trade laws, customs procedures, and regulations (like BOC, PEZA, CDC and OSHA) to ensure smooth cross-border movement and safe operations.
