I am case manager with extensive writing, teaching, and educational experience at a large nonprofit in San Francisco. I have extensive experience in technical writing, data input (both private and government bases), creative writing, content writing, and travel writing. I have written and presented a variety of curricula in child development, parent education, disability awareness, and social justice.
As a San Francisco native, I see the world through a highly compassionate and unique lens that is evident in my writing style and prerogatives on the world and its functions. I obtain a bachelor's degree in Child Development and Psychology, as well as minor in Humanities that I obtained from a university in the United Kingdom. These two very different educational experiences helped mold me into a multi-faceted writer and educator.
I have extensive travel experience and like to keep my finger on the pulse of fashion and culture.
This facet has allowed me to work as a program coordinator for my university's Office of International Education, where I was exposed to many cultures and people from across the globe. Through this, I've gained and acute sense of cultural humility, curiosity, and empathy.
I am passionate about writing truthfully and eloquently, while exposing new ideas and perspectives to a vast number of populations. Cutting corners and jumping ahead are not conducive to my work ethic-- quality over quantity. My diverse background and experiences allow me to fulfill many roles, and provide unique insights on the world around us. I am a collaborative worker, and respect the vision of my clients, and ultimately keep their wishes at the forefront of my work. I am self-starter with a strong sense of punctuality and precision.
I hope to collaborate with you soon!
Best,
Julianne Larkin
