In the rentals department, I am in charge of checking that the equipment works correctly before and after it goes out. As well as making quotes, helping customers with any issues and maintaining the equipment. This has allowed me to have access to a lot of equipment and handle it a well as know what equipment goes out and the professionals are using. My duties included sound effects editing, dialogue editing, and some sound effect recording out in the field. I also helped organize the session and was part of the post production crew. Audio Productions, Nashville, TN Summer Intern, Audio Productions Inc Studio May 2015-July 2015 Throughout the two and half months I interned at Audio Productions Inc, I got to work closely with their resident engineer and other members of staff. I would help set up sessions which were mostly radio broadcast interviews, help record the voice overs for commercials, edit audio books, and basically be available for any task at hand. The rooms include three foley/ADR suites, one music studio, and several small rooms for post-production and mixing. We make sure the rooms are working properly, help those using the rooms with any software related doubts, and maintain the spaces clean and up to date. Along with booking the rooms, the staff is required to build cables, manage and rent out ILOKS, and prepare microphone orders when needed for the music studio.
