Top of Form WORK EXPERIENCE Strategic Information OfficerJune 2022 – Present Aspire Program - Solina Center for International Development and Research, (SCIDaR) FCT, Nigeria. Implement day-to-day execution plans for the ASPIRE project, focusing on achieving epidemic control through the provision of quality HIV services in FCT. Engage in weekly team problem-solving sessions to develop custom-tailored solutions to program challenges Provide technical support to 31 health facilities located within Abuja for the optimization of the National Data Repository (NDR), the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), the Commodity Module, etc. Prepare Excel models using Microsoft Excel to enhance accurate and complete data reporting to capture teams' achievements weekly and monthly Perform direct data verification for internal consistency and validity of program activity to ensure concurrence between RADET and NDR. Provide support to healthcare facility focal person and data assistants/surge monitors on the collection, sharing, standardization, and integration of healthcare data Collaborated in the development and weekly review of data reporting templates for several services like CD4 testing, chest x-ray screening, enhanced adherence counseling, biometric capturing, and partner notification services. Performs daily and weekly entry of records into the NMRS database to enable access (including remotely) to client’s health data for effective monitoring and assessment of the performance of the client’s health and program at the site level, as well as an effective storage and backup of data. Carry out monitoring and evaluation activities for the ACHIEVE project at the program sites and outposts, to ensure the correct use of DC tools. Manages and updates the site-level database, to ensure patient data are fed into NMRS, and that reports are submitted accurately and timely Provides onsite mentoring and technical assistance to the focal person at the out-post facilities, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of data generated and entered into the facility database, and that the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed. Ensures that patients visiting out-post facilities are offered adequate HIV services such as Adherence counseling, ARV refills, CD4 tests, Viral load tests, and overall clinical evaluation. Ensures appropriate referral of patients eligible for HIV test, viral load, CD4, EID, Chest x-ray, and Gene Expert test, to the lab for sample collection. Works closely with clinical associates to evaluate and manage newly identified HIV-positive patients, Highly Exposed Infants, and Unsuppressed patients for adequate treatment, care, and support. Works closely with the onsite focal person to manage identified cases of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and ensures that Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) is provided as needed. Ensures that patients who test positive for tuberculosis get adequate treatment following the set guidelines. Carries out Biometric Capturing for both old and newly identified patients to eliminate the possibility of double-counting, and to ensure efficient use of resources. Prepares and shares daily weekly and monthly reports with project leads, and senior team members, and implements feedback as needed.
