My name is Kehinde Rahman, and I’m a Medical Virtual Assistant with three years of experience supporting healthcare teams through administrative coordination, documentation, and patient-facing support. I’m someone who naturally gravitates toward structure, clarity, and getting things right the first time especially in healthcare settings where accuracy and trust are non-negotiable.

Most of my experience has been in roles that sit at the intersection of patients, providers, and systems. I’ve handled appointment scheduling, patient coordination, EMR management, and documentation support, working closely with clinical and billing teams to keep workflows running smoothly. I’m HIPAA certified, and I take patient privacy seriously not just as a rule, but as a responsibility that shows up in how I work every day.

In my current role, I support medical billing processes indirectly by ensuring that patient records and clinical documentation are complete, accurate, and well-organized before they’re used for claims or follow-up. While I don’t submit claims myself, I help reduce delays and denials by identifying missing or inconsistent information early. This approach has helped maintain a documentation accuracy rate of around 98–99% and improved overall billing readiness and turnaround time.

I have hands-on experience using DrChrono, where I’ve managed tasks such as updating patient demographics, scheduling appointments, reviewing charts, and documenting notes. I’ve also worked with other EMR and practice management systems including SimplePractice, Practice Fusion, Kareo, and Athenahealth. In addition, I’m comfortable using tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office to stay organized, track tasks, and communicate clearly in remote environments.

What really defines me professionally is reliability. I follow through on what I’m responsible for, and I don’t cut corners. If something doesn’t make sense, I ask questions early rather than make assumptions. I understand how small details missed fields, incorrect entries, or delayed follow-ups can create larger issues down the line, so I approach my work with care and intention.

I work well independently, especially in remote roles, but I also value collaboration and clear communication with the teams I support. My goal is always the same: to make processes smoother, reduce friction for providers and patients, and be someone others can count on to get the job done properly.
