Hi! I'm Josh, an IT professional and ICT4D enthusiast with over 9 (nine) years of experience across Government, Utiities, Telcos, Banking/Finance and Healthcare verticals. Excellence is my calling card, and I am a hard worker with a hunger for knowledge and a reputation for learning quickly. Thanks to the mentorship and coaching I have received from being part of a world-class IT Services provider for most of my career, I can truly say that my appreciation for the kind of value that IT can provide has skyrocketed. As a result, I have learnt to be results-oriented and analytical in my thinking regarding client-side pain points, which has yielded two major benefits:

1. The capability of communicating at all organisational levels with a view of eliciting, distilling and prioritising felt needs, and...

2. The development of robust technical design and implementation expertise with infrastructure and applications from leading enterprise vendors such as Fujitsu, Dell, Microsoft and Oracle.

As a direct example, many of the projects I have worked on have spanned basic rack-and-stack jobs (using Dell R-series, Oracle SPARC/x86 and/or Fujitsu Blade servers, etc) up to full-stack architecture implementations (servers alongside Cisco L2/L3 devices, Hyper-V/VMware hypervisors, and Oracle/MSSQL database clusters). By and large, I enjoy fresh challenges and unfamiliar situations, both from a technology and people management standpoint. I am also a closet fan of web development, digital marketing and social media initiatives (all of which I engage with as an avid hobbyist).
