Summary of
qualifications
Education
I am a Business Professional and a creative Artist
with extensive knowledge in audio and video
engineering and production. I am articulate and
proficient with interpersonal skills allowing me to
easily build rapport with anyone. I adapt quickly and
can efficiently learn and execute anything I don’t
already have experience doing. I have numerous
accomplishments in audio and video production,
both in-studio setting and live events in real time. I
always pay careful attention to detail and I have
been told often that I am very resourceful and
reliable. I have been trained to be a highly competent
communicator and people have told me since I
started my working career that I have all the traits
that are key in any successful business. I know the
in’s and out’s of Sales and Marketing and I am a
valuable and loyal asset to any company that utilizes
my talents.
Class of ’98
Sunnyslope High School Phoenix, AZ
High School Diploma
27 Credit Hours
Pre-Law & Business
Phoenix College Phoenix, AZ
I studied all the Social Sciences, Business, Contract
Law, Ethics, Historical Studies, Philosophy, Music
Theory, as well as basic required courses. Before
finishing school, I was offered a highly attractive
position at Starwood Vacation Ownership as a New
Hire Trainer and Call Center Supervisor. The salary
was so enticing that I accepted the offer and did not
return to school to finish my endeavors.
Professional
experience
Winter ’98 to Summer ‘99
NACC Phoenix, AZ
Seminary Graduate, Certificate of Ordination
I receive a Certificate of Ordination after completing
the seminary program from a Community Church. A
non-denominational church established over 40
years ago. I was in charge of my own branch of the
church in the West Valley. In congregation, I
discussed various spiritual and personal growth
issues. I also continue to perform weddings,
baptisms, funerals, counseling, and instruction on
philosophical and religious concepts. I got to a point
where I decided to dedicate more time to more lofty
career choices for the lifestyle I wanted in
entertainment and stage production and as a
performing artist.
May 1995 to November 1999
Midwest Publishing, Inc. Phoenix, AZ
TSR & On-line Supervisor
I was responsible for calling residents and business’
to ask for donations for various nonprofit
organizations. I was also responsible for calling on
past due accounts and often held the position of the
On-line Supervisor, in which I would verify the
stability of the donation with clients.
November 1999 to Nov 2001
Starwood Vacation Ownership
Phoenix, AZ
TSR, Reservations Manager, Training Supervisor
I started on the phones scheduling appointments for
prospects to tour our Vacation Ownership property
in Colorado in Nov ’99. In April of 2000 I was
promoted to Reservations Manager. As a
Reservations Manager I was responsible for helping
to run the floor of the telemarketing room and
verifying the stability of the appointments the TSR’s
set. The room I managed was the top room at the
time, and I was learning from the best in the
company. By September 2000, I was promoted to
Training Supervisor. As a Trainer, I was responsible
for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training
future TSR’s. I was also responsible for managing
the hour to hour logistics of two 48 station call
centers. We continued to have the top room in the
company during my time as a Trainer. In February
2001, I stepped down from management so I would
have more time for more promising ventures in
entertainment, music, and production. At that point I
was working 12 hours a day or more, so I decided to
get back on the phones as a TSR in the same call
center I managed. When I resigned they offered me
another management position in a 98 station call
center and I declined.
November 2001 to Present
Freelance
Audio and Video Engineering and Studio Audio
Production, Stage and Talent Acquisition,
Management, and Production
I started producing audio and video directly after
leaving Starwood. I produced a 12 song, full length
EP that was never released due to the band
dynamics in 2001 to 2002. From then on I went on
to produce a number of songs for private, corporate,
and social events as a means of becoming a
professional audio and video engineer. I
co-produced some music videos during this time as
well. I also produced an experiential video for U.S.
Foods Executives and their Culinary team as a virtual
vacation to the Amalfi Coast and Monaco. Every year
since 2016, my partner and I run stages with live
bands and DJ’s for ERRL Cup entertainment and Side
Pony Express Music Festival in Bisbee.
November 2001 to August 2002
Senior Benefit Association
Phoenix, AZ
Sales Representative/Account Manager
I was responsible for calling potential clients, all
across the United States, and selling them a service
that prevented fraud. We would advocate for elderly
clients not able to do so themselves.
January 2002 to June 2003
Alpha Book Center
Phoenix, AZ
Evening Store Manager/Clerk
I ran this book store on Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm. I was responsible for
helping customers find books and products that
most suit their individual needs as well as closing
the store for the night and doing the books. It was a
metaphysical bookstore and they carried much more
than just reading material. People often came in just
to talk and find resolutions to their problems. I
loved that job; it helped me practice my counseling
techniques.
Aug. 2002 to April 2019
International Cruise & Excursions(ICE), Inc.
Scottsdale, AZ
Member Services Rep./Travel Agent/Cruise and
Tour Specialist/Outbound Sales Specialist
I started on the phones as a Member Services
Representative, which was a position in which I was
responsible for calling current members and selling
upgrades on memberships. I was then trained on
cruises and resort stays and I went into a position
where I received inbound calls of various types for
all different forms of I.C.E. memberships. I also
redeemed certificates for various pre-purchased
vacation packages and associated brands. I was
required to handle my own customer service and
continued to take inbound calls as well as perform
outbound calls to various new clients. I was able to
handle every aspect of ICE and it’s branded
memberships with my vast knowledge of their
products and services. I would consistently receive
perfect scores on CEMs (Customer Experience
Management), and I was always the one that
colleagues and Supervisors alike would ask to
answer questions that were more complex than the
average situation. I took pride in my job and my
ability to effectively communicate with people in
relation to their services (which are often confusing
and restrictive by design). Often after speaking with
me, even if they called in irate and upset, at the end
of the conversation clients would exclaim, “You are
the most helpful person I’ve ever talked to there!”
Under FMLA this past year, I was receiving harassing
messages, removal from new lead lists, and threats
from my immediate supervisor at the time because
he believed, “You have to work more hours if you
want to make any money”. I tried talking to him first
about why I couldn’t and that it was temporary, but
when that wasn’t successful, I submitted a formal
complaint to HR. I was let go for “attendance” by HR
regardless to the fact I was covered under approved
FMLA at the time of the infractions. That’s Federally
illegal.
Nov. 2016 - Present
Scotch Studios Phoenix
President
My partner and I create, organize, plan, produce, and
execute logistics for any event within the realm of
any medium that would require entertainment or
sound. We have executed hundreds of events
successfully and always pay great attention to detail
and logistics hour to hour. Between the two of us
our coverage is great and our experience in our
respective fields give us the influence to dictate
responsibility accordingly.

I am incredibly proficient with computers. I work on
them all the time and have all the Microsoft programs
that most businesses use (i.e. Excel, Word, Power
Point, Outlook, etc.) I can also type about 50+ wpm. I
have a strong work ethic and do not like to remain idle
for long. I’ve been a musician and artist since
childhood. I play drums, piano/keyboard, sing, and I
produce occasionally as well. I have actively studied
Martial Arts since I was about 12 years old. I’m a
student of Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Shaolin Kenpo,
Baugua, and Wing Chun. I have also received my
culinary degree, with honors from Le Cordon Bleu
Institute in 2011.
