Joshua Funk

Growing up as a gamer and eventually a computer user, I've always had a curiosity as to how things worked in PCs and games. Eventually I discovered JavaScript and a little of game modding and ended up taking what knowledge I had gained to College and learned more about computer science in Web Design and Development courses.

Now I'm a software Developer who is always happy to pick up something new, even if it's outside my area of expertise as I like to learn and fully understand the systems I interact with on a daily basis. I find value in talking to Team members and coworkers to learn about what they are working on in hopes of understanding a bit about it.

My determination has been useful in understanding new concepts, technologies and languages over the years. Even when faced with something I don't understand, I like to wrestle with it until I learn.
