I daily used Microsoft programs and the hospitals tracking program called CaMIS. I worked alongside Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, patients and the public in dealing with queries and questions. 11th July 2017 - 31st October 2017: NHS Clerical Administrator: Working in the Dermatology and Urology Secretaries department in Doncaster Royal Infirmary I take on a range of administration duties. I daily use Microsoft and NHS computer programs. As a clerical filer I handle telephone calls, book and track patient case-notes, type and audio type letters for patients and doctors, file documents and assist patients with queries and questions. I work in a team with people across the hospital to ensure the smooth running of clinics I am involved in. The office environment is fast paced and there are strict daily targets I must and do achieve. Customer service is a vital part to working in the hospital and therefore my experience has strengthened in this area. I have been very successful in communicating and adapting to different departments around the hospital because of my changing job role. 31st October 2017 - 31st August 2018: NHS Cancer Services and MDT Clerical Officer: As a cancer services officer my main duty was to prepare for MDT meetings in which Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and other medical staff would discuss diagnosis and treatment plans for cancer patients. Within this preparation I regularly used computer programs such as MS office, Camis, iFit and MediSec. I handled telephone calls with other departments across multiple hospital grounds, exchanging medical notes and data. Data input, processing and filing was a daily responsibility for me. One of the most important aspects to the job was keeping patient and colleague data confidential. 1st July 2018 - Present: Self Employed at Puratek Services: Whist still working for the NHS I set up my own business that offers services in property maintenance and external cleaning. After a short period of time the business grew to a degree that I left the NHS. During trading I have hired contractors, processed invoices, kept business books and accounts, dealt with tax returns and handled queries and quotations. I have ongoing sales experience as I started the company by canvassing work via door-to-door selling, online advertising (using Facebook, Google, Yell and my website). The business is successful and profitable as I have regular and increasing work.
