+ Organizing course-specific tutorials for students to help them better
appreciate these courses which translated in them attaining better grades
and interest in the program as a whole.
+ Assisting in effectively grading and assessing students’ performance by
marking and recording assignments and quizzes and keeping track of
attendance. This helped members of faculty channel more of their efforts
into other equally important tasks.
+ Partook in a research that involved proposing an algorithm that provided a
non-invasive tele medical system of post-malaria-diagnosis monitoring
which will afford doctors a more effective means of keeping track of the
recovery of their patients. The published journal is available at

Michigan Tech University – KNUST Ventilator Project.
+ Took part in testing and fixing faults identified on the Innovative Business
Ventures (IBV) Ventilator designed and constructed by a team of students
from Michigan Tech University, USA,
+ Worked as a member of a team of students involved in the KNUST Ventilator
Project who implemented modifications on the IBV ventilator.
+ Our team went on to design and construct a portable low cost ventilator to
help patients with difficulty in breathing. Due to the success of this project,
our team was presented with the MTN Project Innovation Award at the 2017
KNUST College of Engineering Students’ and Industrial Partners' Awards.

I NT ER N – Biomedical Engineering Unit, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH),
Kumasi.
+ Assisting in daily morning checks on medical equipment in the hospital to
assess their functionality and trouble shooting. This allowed me to make a
positive impact on the day to day running of the hospital by ensuring that
equipment were operating optimally.
+ Assisting in repair of faulty or damaged medical equipment which gave me
field experience and better appreciation of the biomedical engineering
program.
+ Designing a reference guide to aid in more efficient and effective training
of interns on the water treatment process at the Dialysis unit.
