Joseph Chukwuka Ejoh

My name is Ejoh Joseph Chukwuka, and I am a Data Analyst based in Abuja, Nigeria, passionate about transforming raw data into clear insights that drive business decisions. With hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python, I specialize in building interactive dashboards, performing deep-dive analytics, and uncovering trends that help organizations optimize performance and improve outcomes.

My journey into data analytics began after completing my B.Sc. in Biochemistry, where I developed a strong analytical mindset and an interest in solving complex problems. Over time, I transitioned fully into the data field, earning industry-recognized certifications including the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, and the Skillz Africa Data Analytics Program (2025). These programs strengthened my technical foundation and allowed me to work on real-world datasets across sales, operations, and customer behavior.

I have built several impactful projects, including a Mobile Phone Sales Dashboard, a US Candy Distributor Dashboard, and multiple Power BI analyses for challenges such as the Onyx Data Challenge. Through these projects, I honed my ability to clean messy datasets, model data efficiently, implement DAX calculations, and design intuitive dashboards that tell compelling data stories.

I am currently developing myself further by working on algorithmic thinking through crypto trading strategy analysis (airWise Alpha), where I apply time-series techniques, lag correlation studies, and risk-adjusted performance metrics. This challenge improves my understanding of data-driven strategy design and adds to my analytical versatility.

Professionally, I enjoy roles that allow me to combine technical skill with business understanding roles where I can work closely with teams to diagnose problems, define metrics, and deliver insights that influence strategy. I thrive in environments where learning is continuous, creativity is appreciated, and data is valued as a strategic asset.

As I continue to grow, my goal is to work in a forward-thinking organization, ideally in a hybrid or remote role, where I can contribute to solving real business problems, build impactful dashboards, and improve decision-making processes. I’m also committed to sharing my knowledge through writing and plan to build a data-focused portfolio on Git-Hub.
