Jonathan Kamau

I have experience working with and collaborating in remote software engineering teams to build products. I have experience in the agile methodology, object-oriented design, CI/CD, and TDD. In addition, I have experience with both relational and non-relational databases. During my three years at Andela, I worked with several internal teams and in the process gained experience with developing and optimizing APIs in Python using the Flask framework. In one of the teams, I wrote test cases for the project's code that helped improve code coverage by 90%. 

While still at Andela, I worked remotely with the engineering team for one of Andela's partners, 2U, that's based in New York. I helped integrate and deliver 2U's suite of applications for new university programs by developing proprietary systems for student program applications. Together with my team, we managed to achieve 80% turnaround efficiency for 2U in the final quarter of 2019.
