John Roy D. Marucot

 As an Industrial Engineer, I was taught how to be resilient and adaptive. Being a quick decision maker and critical thinker is required in our field of profession and that is what we are trying to master. Through my years of studying in this profession, I acquired those skills and I can confidently say that I am ready to whatever it is that lies ahead in my future for this field. I know that I can use these skills that I have so I can achieve my career plan and reach my goals. It would be better if I can do it as earliest as possible or within my expected time frame. But if I have to face more of those rough roads in my career, I will make sure to still reach my goal no matter how long it will take me.  I can say that one of my biggest strength is my resilience. I am a very resilient and flexible person, and I can land myself on different situation and deal with them. I also consider my personality and confidence as my strength because I am a confident person with a strong personality. I can use it in building good relations in this field. As for my weakness, I am a very straight-forward person. I do not like hitting around the bush so I am always brief but precise. I am working on this weakness so I can become more elaborative person. Being straight-forward is a good thing at some point but in this field, I know that being elaborative is imperative so I can easily be understood and I can easily build good relations. As of the moment, the thing that I consider as my greatest achievement is landing and Internship program at a Multi-national Institution. It is a great opportunity for me to be working with people in different nationality. I have experienced a competitive working environment that embraces diversity and I have gained a lot of experiences that enhances my skills and knowledge in this field and learned cultural sensitivity at this early stage in my profession.
