My work experience started when I was customer service representative for a local airline company that lasted for a year and a month. Closely working with our customers about their flight inquiries, bookings and re-bookings are my main tasks. I was then promoted to become one of the few agents to become a Payment Agent. We handle over-the-phone payment transactions.
I then moved on as a Virtual Assistant/Office Support in Sales for an IT company based in the US. My responsibilities include preparation/processing of quotes to be submitted to government agencies for bidding, marketing of IT products from our biggest vendors (IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco etc.) and other sales related work.
I took an offer from a government agency and worked as an IT support staff for almost three years, my work included day-to-day troubleshooting of IT issues providing desk side support to end users. I also manage the IT inventory and is responsible for the acquisition of IT equipment with specifications that matches the organization's standards.
After almost three years I went back to private employment and accepted an offer from an international IT company, I was assigned to a tobacco giant that supplies cigarettes to Western Visayas. I provide IT support and inventory to sales offices from over 24 sites. I also lead a team of four IT staff responsible for the maintenance and repair of IT equipment (laptops, desktops, iPads, iPhones, Thermal Printers, MFPs, barcode scanners, etc).
I am currently employed as a senior IT analyst for an international BPO company leading a team of 5 IT analysts in providing support and maintenance to a site with currently 400 employees and growing.
