Hi, I’m John Carlo Paclibar, but most people call me JC. I’m a UI/UX Designer with over five years of experience turning ideas into digital products that people actually enjoy using. For me, design isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about making them work. Also, helping the business and the user with their needs
I’ve worked on everything from websites and mobile apps to SaaS platforms, making sure each project delivers value to both users and businesses. Whether I’m sketching out wireframes, building prototypes, or putting together full design systems, I always start by asking, “How will this help the user?” That mindset keeps my work grounded in functionality while still allowing room for creativity.
I’ve had the privilege of working with companies like Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp., Multiply Mii, Bayad Center, and MovementSoft. Each role taught me something new—whether it was collaborating with developers in Agile sprints, managing tasks in Asana, or presenting design concepts to stakeholders and refining them based on feedback. Along the way, I also worked on branding and marketing materials, creating logos, icons, and social media graphics to support campaigns.
One thing people notice about me is that I adapt quickly. Every industry has its quirks—finance, real estate, logistics, e-commerce—and I’ve learned to adjust my approach depending on who I’m designing for. I’m comfortable using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision for product design, while tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Blender help me bring extra creative flair when needed. And because I have a basic grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I can speak the same language as developers, which makes collaboration smoother.
What I really enjoy is problem-solving. I enjoy identifying where users encounter difficulties, resolving those friction points, and then observing the significant improvement in the experience. I believe design should make life easier, not harder, and I carry that belief into every project. I also stay active in creative communities and volunteer initiatives, which keep me connected to fresh ideas and remind me that design is about people first.
I aim to contribute to the development of products that users love and businesses are proud to share. If you’re looking for someone who brings valuable and functional design, I’d be excited to work with you.
