Johanna Mae Meana

I am Johanna Mae Meana, a registered nurse here in the Philippines. I have over 9 years of experience both in clinic and hospital settings. I work in an outpatient clinic for 8 years and for the most part, I worked in the triage area.

 Other than being a triage nurse, I also handled consultants in our Chronic diseases clinic, I was responsible for arranging their patient workload during the day as well as patient appointments. During the pandemic, I was able to communicate with their patients through phone calls for appointment reminders and medication refills to limit their visit in our clinic especially that they are controlled cases of Chronic diseases. On top of that, I also worked in the swabbing unit in our department, I was assigned in the triage area and was also responsible for communicating with the infection control nurse with the daily statistics of COVID cases.
