Joenalyn Salvador

Hi My name is Joenalyn Salvador from Las Pinas, Metro Manila Philippines. I am a Graduate of Bachelor Of Science in Nursing. I am a single parent of a 4 year old girl and when I'm not working, I like to spend time with her watching Disney movies, teaching her with reading and writing to prepare her for school. My interests are singing, cooking, and listening to music I especially like classical and jazz music very much.

About my work experience, I've worked in a BPO industry for more than a year under Medical Account as a Medical Billing Staff at Physicians Billing Solutions. My responsibilities there includes obtaining authorizations for all services of the patients, working directly with the insurance carriers, the patient, and the healthcare provider, to get a claim processed, Communicating with Medical Billing Specialists to ensure treatment codes are accurately received. Call insurance companies regarding authorization request for the services rendered by the provider, Entering all the necessary information into software, Verifying patients’ insurance coverage, Reviewing patient medical records. I am also responsible with the patients call for appointment reminders, appointment reschedule, cancellation and booking, answering patients medical concerns. In addition to that the chart prep was also assigned to me as the account requires someone who has a medical background to do the task.

During this period, I have learned the values of teamwork and commitment, how to work hard, how to concentrate, focus on goals, how to balance my time and priorities. Even though I enjoyed the work as a Medical Billing Staff I had to resign and find a bigger opportunity, a bigger challenge to enhance my skills and experience especially with excellent communication ability.

Aside from what this kind of job has taught me, I also enjoyed lots of incentives such as Food and travel allowance, Gift Certificates, and a Medical insurance, and also the office environment wherein we have a room to take a nap, a free coffee, a free cakes, and pizzas every Wednesday. and lastly our every yr. Team Building. When it comes to Social progress I enjoyed the privilege of meeting, learning and working with lots of people.

My short term goal to get placed in well reputed company.

My long term goal to placed in any company that offers home based jobs, and give my best to to be an asset to the company.
