I am a Software Engineer and technical leader with over seven years of experience building, scaling, and maintaining high-impact digital systems across fintech, media innovation, civic technology, and AI-driven platforms. My work sits at the intersection of engineering excellence, social impact, and human-centered technology, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and real-world outcomes.

Currently, I work at the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), where I architect and maintain backend systems for AI-powered fact-checking, media accountability, and public transparency platforms serving users across Nigeria and Ghana. My responsibilities include designing scalable Django REST APIs, integrating AI services such as transcription and conversational systems, implementing robust role-based access control, and managing CI/CD pipelines for safe, repeatable deployments. These platforms collectively serve over 13,000 users and support initiatives funded by global partners, including Google.

Previously, I co-founded and led the engineering effort for Accessivo (formerly TechitCheap), a mobile banking platform advancing financial inclusion in Nigeria. I designed the full-stack architecture—backend APIs, mobile applications, and secure transaction workflows—scaling the product from concept to production while building and mentoring an engineering team. I have also contributed to large-scale public accountability platforms tracking over ₦1.9 trillion in government projects, significantly increasing citizen engagement and oversight.

In parallel with product engineering, I have extensive experience in AI evaluation, training, and quality assurance. As a Pod Lead and LLM Python Developer with Turing, I led distributed teams evaluating AI-generated code, agent behavior, and multimodal outputs across multiple enterprise projects. I conducted structured side-by-side evaluations, RLHF workflows, and agentic code validation, ensuring correctness, instruction adherence, and reproducibility across Python, web, and mobile stacks.

I am also deeply invested in education and mentorship. I have trained and mentored over 400 developers through formal instruction, workshops, and community leadership roles, translating complex technical concepts into practical, executable skills. Whether building systems, evaluating AI behavior, or teaching developers, I bring a detail-oriented, evidence-driven approach focused on quality, clarity, and long-term impact.
