I hold a BSc. in Computer Engineering and I started my MSc. in Bioinformatics and Computacional Biology, missing a class and the thesis to conclude. During my professional life, I worked on Deloitte Portugal as an IT Consultant. I am an enthusiastic in most of areas of computing field, specially artificial intelligence, programming languages and algorithms. I attended a Summer School on Systems Biology in Dresden, Germany, which allowed me to strengthen my knowledge in systems biology area and integrate, for a short period of time, one of the world’s largest research teams. As hobbies I like photography, travel, experience new cultures and extolling my knowledge in other areas through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). I finished the 9week Le Wagon’s web-developer course in Amsterdam, where I learned Ruby on Rails. Right after I finished the LeWagon I applied for a job as a junior Rails developer in a fast-growing startup in Amsterdam. Currently I am looking for a remote position as Full Stack developer, using Rails and/or Javascript. He also received a scholarship from a research center of telecommunications in university, where he studied Cellular Automata (CA) models applied to system biology.
