Joana Koch Ferreira

Having graduated in “Communication Design” at “Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto” (University of Porto) in 2008, I obtained a Master Degree in “Image Design” in the following year at the same Faculty.

Working as a graphic designer since 2008 I am now seeking an opportunity to further develop and expose my competencies as well as strengthen my intellectual and professional abilities, by acquiring new skills in an environment specialized in digital design. I have a recently concluded a specialised short course of UI/UX to deepen my knowledge in this area.

I have been working for two leading Portuguese newspapers (“Jornal de Notícias” and “O Jogo”), where my professional activity includes editorial and infographic design. Additionally, I have developed several projects as a freelance designer, such as websites, branding, catalogues, brochures, amongst other projects, for several corporate clients.
