GENDER ASPECT OF DOMESTIC ABUSE
Domestic abuse violence is a common issue, world wide ,affecting mostly women ,it have been noted with concern that two of every three women in our home suffer or have suffer domestic abuse. Hence they are victims of domestic abuse,violence,physical attract ,sexual rape, emotional tomentation ,psychological abuse and alienation. Domestic abuse worsened psychological and physical health, decrease quality of life to the victim hence stress and depression, decrease job productivity. The most common site of domestic abuse injury are the head, neck, forehead, fractured legs, victim may have symptoms of fatigue, chest pain,headache,chronic pain. most cases of domestic violence were witnessed more in women than men during covid lockdown .More so most of domestic abuse cases end up unreported yet the victim suffer more due to fear and negligence of authorities coming on rescue on time eg police.
