I am JiaoJiao Yu, a dedicated and dynamic English educator with a profound commitment to advancing language education. Over the past eight years, I have cultivated a rich and varied experience in teaching English and developing educational programs, culminating in my current role as the Head of the English Teaching Group at Wuxi Foreign Language School.

My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Jiangsu Second Normal University. This foundational experience ignited my passion for teaching and set the stage for my career in education. I began my professional journey as a Middle School English Teacher, where I honed my skills in delivering comprehensive language instruction, designing tailored lesson plans, and providing personalized support to students. My efforts in this role were driven by a desire to overcome language barriers and foster significant learning progress, equipping students with the skills they need to excel in English.

Transitioning to the role of a Homeroom Teacher, I embraced a holistic approach to education, managing class affairs with a focus on students' psychological well-being and overall growth. I established positive communication channels with both students and parents, and organized class activities that promoted cooperation and friendship, creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

In my current position, I lead and coordinate efforts to improve teaching quality within the English teaching research group. I design and promote enhancements to the English curriculum, integrating innovative resources and methods to enrich the learning experience. A key aspect of my role is coaching and training English teachers on pronunciation and intonation, sharing best practices to facilitate professional growth and collaboration among educators. I also translate school documents and offer interpretation services for visiting foreign scholars, ensuring effective communication and cultural exchange.

Beyond the classroom, I am actively involved in organizing extracurricular activities such as English competitions and events, and I take pride in guiding students to success in these endeavors. My contributions to education have been recognized through numerous awards, including the Teacher of the Year at Wuxi Foreign Language School and the Guiding Teacher Award from the Wuxi Education Bureau. These accolades reflect my dedication to student welfare, academic achievement, and innovative teaching practices.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, I am adept at cross-cultural communication and possess a range of skills in public speaking, presentation, and curriculum development. My passion for education extends to my continuous professional development, as evidenced by certifications in TESOL and as a Certified Apple Teacher.
