Hi, I'm Jewel Alhambra, currently working as an Audiobook Editor at Lantern Audio Productions (US Based). For the past 7 months of working there, I encountered doing different task such as:

• Audiobook Editing using ProTools Application
• Reviewing other people's work
• Tutoring other trainees through chat
• Combining and Analyzing Sessions
• Sending an email to director and QC to inform them that the audio files are already uploaded to server

As an audiobook editor, I usually create a roomtone in order for the book to sound natural with the help of sound engineer. Plus I remove the noise to dialogue and adjust the transition of narrator and dialogue. Transition is very much important in audiobook. I also marked the chapters and error on the script.

I applied there without experience, but they gave me a chance and with God's help and their training, I learned it and do it passionately. I am now a project manager. I'm looking for another job to build a strong foundation and learn another skills. Plus, I want to be an asset to your company. I hope you'll give me chance. Thank you and God bless!
