Advansys: software developer working for a financial centered software company.
my main tasks consisted on reviewing tickets from the consultation department and
implementing updates, new functionalities and bug corrections to the companies
software products.
Tech Support: worked as a volunteer for Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y
Maestra in a coding oriented event as tech support . Some of the responsibilities for
this position were: installing and helping manage a small network for the participants,
providing support in the form of extra equipment or in other of available resources.
INFOTEP: Internship creating data records for a government agency.
Avatartech: internship as a junior developer developing clients for web services in
java & grails technologies. While on this job I studied the companies work
methodology, communication channels, task assignment and report process. I then
became acquainted with the frameworks for the project I was assigned to work on.
-POS: my assignments from here on out revolve around a point of sale
software to be developed as an interface for a larger ERP product that the company
offers under the name nimboERP. This POS was to be developed on java using javafx
and unirest technologies. The final goal was the creation of a simple user interface
that could interact through REST services with the infrastructure of nimbo providing
the user a simpler way to realize their tasks and updating the previous implementation
of this system.
Oftasis: Independent project for the management of an ophthalmologist’s practice,
more specifically, its patients, appointments, and consultation. In this project I
exercised the role of lead programer working along with a small team using scrum
methodology. Other tasks included: Interviewing the client for requirement
identification, planning and coding the software’s architecture, participating in data
model creation and design and providing maintenance for the final product.
