When searching for the ads I used the website internships.com. I used this website because I have had previous experience with this website and it has worked very well in the past. I did a general search for public relations positions, and there were two ads in particular, that I felt accurately qualified for. Ads: Fashion Public Relations Coordinator: I applied for this position because I possess many of the skills and a mindset the company is looking for. I love learning about the latest fashion trends and I am familiar with the Nordstrom brand. I am also a novice fashion and beauty blogger. This position would give me an opportunity to get my foot in the fashion world and teach me how the PR fashion industry works. I have also: ● Interned for two years, virtually, with a Las Vegas Productions, a PR firm in Las Vegas ● A degree in strategic communications with an emphasis in public relations ● Have knowledge of basic Adobe programs ● Have great interpersonal and people skills ● Can work alone or in a group. Brand Events Production - Entry Level This position is ideal because not only is it entry level, they also offer training and other opportunities such as travel. This position focuses on brand production and various marketing and public relations strategies. This position could give me a well rounded view of the industry and allow me to get a feel of what each position may feel like. The qualifications I meet for this position include: ● Having a limited amount of experience in my current field ● Energetic with great people skills ● Ability to work as a team, or alone ● Can establish a relationship with a client or individual quickly and easily Cc:-
