My work includes
Receiving endorsement, taking note of clients condition, treatment and procedures.
Commincated to the attending physicians about the conditions of the patient.
Answers call light promptly. Assessing clients condition and needs. Building rapport.
Assisting the clients in maintaining activities of daily living, includes giving bath, feeding, oral hygiene,
perineal care.
Administering medications to the client may it be oral, intravenous, topical, intradermal, intramuscular
and subcutaneous.
Assures proper documentation of the patient’s condition and the treatment given to him.
Removal of contraptions as ordered: nasogastric tubing, peripheral intravenous lines , Foley catheter.
Initiates specimen collection and sending it to the laboratory.
Facilitates unit dosing.
Performs specific treatment or procedures: enemas, perineal care, perilite, suctioning, nebulization,
steam inhalation, etc.
Assisting clients in admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Facilitates post. Mortem care
Acting as an active member of the health care team in providing quality client/family health care.
Contributes to a smooth and therapeutic working environment by proper assessments and referrals of
the clients condition.
