Jeru Erezo

Hi, my name is Jeru Erezo, and I’m a Medical Billing Specialist with over one and a half years of hands-on experience supporting multi-specialty practices across the United States.

In my previous role, I worked with providers in mental and behavioral health, pain management, physical therapy, home care, and dermatology. I handled end-to-end medical billing processes, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-ups, and denial management.

I have experience using EMR and EHR systems such as Tebra, SimplePractice, TherapyAppointment, and Jane App, where I managed patient records, submitted claims, and ensured accurate documentation. I’m also familiar with payer portals like Availity, Medicare, Medicaid, UnitedHealthcare, and other commercial insurance platforms for eligibility verification, claim tracking, and follow-ups.

My role focuses on ensuring claims are submitted accurately and on time, using correct CPT and ICD-10 codes, tracking claim statuses, and resolving denials promptly to minimize revenue loss. I also review EOBs, post payments, and communicate with insurance companies when needed to ensure proper reimbursement.
