I’m a licensed Electrical Engineer with solid expertise in consumer product testing, conformity, quality and assurance, evaluation, standardization, and safety certification in accordance with local and international regulations.
My recent background as a Product Standards Engineer has guided my professional development towards understanding various product standards assessment and inspection methods, ensuring that brands under my roster met the international guidelines for safety and quality standards set by various regulatory bodies. Aside from these experiences, I have been immersed in different functions relevant to customer support, client-handling, site visits, project monitoring and maintenance, and preparation of test reports and recommendations.
Prior to obtaining my degree and license, I worked in several industries such as retail, customer service, quality assurance, product inspection, testing and currently doing side-stints as a Math Tutor for junior engineering students and a freelance Virtual Assistant - focusing on leads generation, email and customer support, AutoCAD projects. Those previous exposure on customer-centric domains honed my skills on dealing with stakeholders and being an advocate of great customer service experience. It was a plus that I got a chance to share my knowledge with students aiming to be engineers in the future!
My experience sounds like a ‘jack-of-all-trade’, and I would agree as it becomes my edge to fully understand the backbone of customer service having first-hand experiences while working on ensuring the quality and safety of consumer products we offer.
