2015 – 2018 Sales Strategy Director
• Collaborated and coproduced with the marketing, sales and product management team innovative engagement
strategies to expand the use of card payments across the vendors’ network promoting the adoption of new payment
technologies.
• Led and designed the development of a new customer journey model for the payment devices service through a
digital platform called “Club MiniDatáfono” to enhance its usage and preference. Achieved an 80% early activation
response from customers (transactions within first 3 months); 50% chose to use the model permanently (after three
months of service).
• Enabled sales growth of card readers devices for small vendors by 45% in the 4Q of 2015 launching two new
channels (online and telemarketing). This involved the project management and execution, holding executions of
communications and marketing strategies, training sessions for sales force and customers from different sectors,
supervise all technological update to websites and internal platforms and negotiations with external telemarketing
suppliers to support the canal operation.
• Coordinated deeply training sessions to the sales team towards reinforce knowledge about products and improve
sales and adoption results.
• Led and designed the new digital enrollment model for card payment systems for merchants by amplifying good
practices and Colombian local needs. This implementation included developing an innovative operational model,
defined new procedures across stakeholders, including end-to-end operational guides, and closely monitoring the
technological implementation.
2013 – 2015 Product Marketing Director
• Designed the marketing strategy for all products in charge and iimplemented all marketing campaigns in
collaboration with the agencies, vendors, and print suppliers.
• Coordinated branding activities and multimedia packages (brochures, sales presentations, branding, videos, media
for digital platforms) for products in charge.
• Directed all product lifecycle improvements partnering with the internal and external technical teams. (i.e., multi‐
banking correspondents - more than one bank operating in the same retail store).
• Coordinated along with an external marketing research agency a customer and business model studies for the
correspondents’ bank industry, to build the strategy for the next 5 years.
• Designed the growth strategy for the correspondents’ bank product for the next 5 years.
• Surpassed the banking correspondents’ transactional level target by 110% in 2014 and reached 50% of the market
share.
• Structured negotiations with the top client for the Banking correspondent product, increasing revenue by 147%
• Negotiated with the logistic partner the banking correspondent operation by developing a new contract and
operational model for the next 3 years.
2010 - 2012 MasterCard Franchise Marketing Director
The MasterCard brand strategy implementation in Colombia was co-managed by Redeban Multicolor and MasterCard
Colombia.
• Adapted and localized all marketing campaigns related to MasterCard partnerships and sponsorships in Colombiain
collaboration with the MasterCard marketing agency.
• Carried out an average of two monthly MasterCard partnerships with merchants, increasing sales by 80% and 100%
during promotional period.
• Coordinated an average of six MasterCard events annually associated with sponsorships, including their marketing
campaigns. These events were usually selected by the Chief Marketing Officer in Redeban and MasterCard in
Colombia.
• Coordinated all marketing research for vendors services in collaboration with an external agency- CODENSA S.A. ESP Bogotá, Colombia.
