In the summer of 2016, I rode my bike across the US. Throughout the 4,000 mile journey, I helped build homes and explored our great national parks. I also thought about quitting quite a few times. Despite the strong headwinds and steep climbs, I kept going — because I’m the type of person who sets big goals and works hard to achieve them.
Over the years I have channeled this perseverance into my work at fast-paced tech startups. I have three years’ experience as a Customer Success Manager and two years’ experience working in Web Design. Both roles required emotional intelligence and technical knowledge to empathize with users and deliver value-driven designs. My ability to produce human-centered, quality digital campaigns will translate well into a web design or marketing role.
Through my experiences at tech startups, I have learned the the importance of clear communication, meticulous organization, and pragmatic self-direction. I am self-taught in web design, basic development, and growth marketing, and believe open source communities empower individuals to be lifelong learners and global explorers. I get fired up about the power of attractive visual design and simple wording. Whether using HTML and CSS to make designs, A/B testing for refinement, or creating persuasive content, I am excited to contribute to great marketing design.
