I offer skilled writing, flexible in style to address diverse aspects of business management: grants, technical reports, research and reporting, internal and public documents, narrative budgets, as well as editing with recent clients as diverse as summer camps (technical documents, grant making), PhD candidates (copyediting), recovery centers (grant proposals). Basically, I actually love doing the writing that forms the necessary foundations of a thriving business.

I don't just write about operations and administration--I live it! Over the last 6 years I directed two wilderness retreat centers in growth phases, achieving balanced budgets (starting from $100,000 annual deficits) while tripling customer volume. Prior to that I managed events and community development for small and medium-sized community organizations. And just for fun, I have also taught university-level sociology and ethnic studies.
