Since my home town is pretty far, the company did not agree to me working from home, especially with the location and internet connection. So I had no choice but to file for a resignation. Modern Real Estate: Aug 2020 – April 2021 Position: Virtual Admin/Appointment Setter Job Responsibilities: I handled cold calling leads such as GEO and FSBO’s, I also gathered daily data. I worked a 10 hour shift, 5 hours for calls and 5 hours for admin tasks, I assisted in marketing and advertising as well as web design for the company, I was also the admin for the companies CRM, I did other tasks aside from all these. I loved working as a VA, being able to do so much from the comfort of your home still excites me. Reason for leaving: Sadly, there was a financial issue and the company was making some cuts and I just happened to be one of them. Education: First year college undergraduate at University of San Jose Recoletos Cebu. I could not finish school, there were 7 of us in the family and my father was getting old. I had to sacrifice, it was my own decision and I do not regret it at all. It just reminds me of how much I love my family and that they would have done the same. I plan on continuing sometime in the future but not right now.
