I’ve worked as a sales agent with AT&T and that’s for outbound and inbound selling of long distance plans. We have a lot of competitors during that time like for example Verizon, MCI, Sprint and my job as a Telemarketer is convince them to switch their long distance calling plan by offering them competitive and affordable rates. When I was with AT&T inbound, I also did customer service aside from sales so it means that we need to make sure that our callers are satisfied because we have CSAT or Customer Satisfaction as part of our metrics.
I’ve also worked as a telemarketer for Sprint for outbound selling of cellphones. I was a sales agent for Vonage w/c is a VOIP provider. Vonage provides phone service using the internet and I’ve sold TV packages from DirecTV w/c is a leading Satellite TV provider in the US. I’m also an experienced appointment setter for TransWorld Systems Inc., and my job was to invite people to speak with marketing department about a software that can help their company in collecting past due bills. I’ve also worked as an appointment setter for Demand Science Team Inc., The account that I handled there was PureB2B and we invite clients to speak with our account director on how we can help them increase their sales pipeline by giving them access to our leads of over 30 million B2B decision makers.
Furthermore, I used to be a debt collector and my job was to track down people who owe money to diff companies like for car rentals, medical institutions. We remind them of their past due bills and try to negotiate on how they can pay their debts by offering them a payment plan or some sort of settlement.
