The Virtual Assistant Epidemic
Am I ready?
This is the question I’ve been asking myself for the past few weeks. I know you are probably thinking that it has something to do with settling down. Well, you are quite correct, but not as a person thinking of having a family. I am thinking of settling down with a new job. Yes, you heard it right, a job, and I want to be infected by the virtual assistant epidemic.
For the past years, the virtual assistant job has been a trend since the pandemic started. Although there have been existing work-at-home jobs even before COVID-19 imprisoned us in our homes, it seems that the pandemic gave some businesses the opportunity to convert their services remotely—especially those customer service providers.
Now that the pandemic has subsided and a lot of restrictions have been lifted, remote jobs are continuously and surprisingly increasing the demands. There are already companies asking their employees to come back to the office. However, from the time people started working from home, they experienced the comfort of it and realized the burden lifted from the hustle and bustle of going through and back from work. I was able to avoid traffic jams, and lastly, the time spent with family was longer. The majority then decided to switch to virtual assistance as it offers permanent work from home. I am one of those people who don’t want to go back to the normal work setup. I decided to learn the skills needed for the job. I joined online training. I specifically joined social media marketing, bookkeeping, lead generation, and real estate virtual assistant courses.
Am I ready? I am not sure, but I will join the virtual assistant epidemic. We will never know if we are ready unless we do it. After all, life is too short, we’ll never know what will happen tomorrow. There might be another pandemic that will not allow us to go outside or another event that will prevent us from doing the things we want to do. As the world changes, we should adapt and innovate. It’s now or never.
Now, the question is, ARE YOU READY?
