Therefore, many entrepreneurs have a hard time reaching their goals, and not just because of the performance of their companies. So before I even get into this mantra, I want to point out that my business was not earning any consistent revenue until I started setting monthly monetary goals for income. If you want to earn more money, set a goal for how much you want to make, then make a plan for how you are going to get it. With that said, keep in mind that a dollar a day is better than no dollar that day. There are some days on Miss Millennia where we make a few thousand dollars, and there are other days where we don't make a dime. When I was just getting started with my site, I would always hear snark remarks from people who questioned me working on my site part-time when I "wasn't making that much money." For the people around you who have an opinion about what you are doing, and they are not doing it themselves, forget them. So what if you only made 50 cents today? That is more than that person made online today, so ignore what they say! If 50 cents is less than you made before or less than what you were expecting to make, then it's time to go to your numbers and your plan and figure out what you can do to increase that number. 4. You are doing what many are too afraid to do. So another note about the haters out there who have an opinion about your business … You have already done one of the most difficult steps there is when it comes to being an entrepreneur. You took the first step and you are working your butt off to make it a success. So on those days where you are panicking because you really didn't make a dime that day, you are still much more brave than the person who did not even give it a shot. Don't forget that. 5. I write a list of problems with my business. Make sure you are spending time doing this as opposed to spending all your time working in your business. 6. Are you using your time wisely? Speaking of time management, are you doing any tasks you should not be doing? What am I saying? Of course you are! You're an entrepreneur, aren't you? What are your financial numbers today? People start businesses to solve a problem or fulfill a want or need. This is something to remember on the days when everything seems to be going wrong and you have not earned as much as you’d hoped. You still have so much to be grateful for.
