I am a multi-passionate creative and an inquisitive lifelong learner, driven by a relentless appetite for understanding and applying knowledge.  My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for aesthetics, particularly the power of storytelling and visual design to communicate complex ideas and foster connection. 

My ultimate aim is to support individuals and communities in 'humaning' better and healthier through impactful content and transformative experiences.

I am most gifted at efficiently executing visions and creating spaciously sound structures and systems that support, enable, and sustain the free flow of new ideas and experimentation.  My background reflects a versatile, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach, always upholding a high standard of excellence. This includes an exquisite attention to detail combined with an empathetic superpower, ensuring that my clients and collaborators receive the personalized care needed to not only fulfill but exceed their project expectations.

As the sole proprietor of a startup LLC, I bring over five years of experience in content creation and digital marketing. I've successfully developed newsletters, online flyers, social media posts, and virtual programming to promote and expand my company's service reach and impact.  I'm proficient with platforms like Planoly, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite for social media management, and Mailchimp for email marketing.

Beyond my entrepreneurial ventures, I have over seven years of professional content creation experience across diverse roles including Teaching Artist, Facilitator, Art Group Leader, Program Assistant, Youth Coach, and Leasing Consultant.  In these capacities, I've created unique lesson plans, program flyers, pamphlets, visual aids, newsletters, and social media content for both online and in-person use.  My role as a Teaching Artist at a nonprofit involved collaborating directly with the communication director to manage and schedule creative content for social media and email newsletters.

Academically, I hold a Master of Arts degree in African and African Diaspora Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida International University, where I graduated with a perfect 4.0.  My commitment to human well-being is further demonstrated by my studies in mindfulness and emotional intelligence with The Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI), and my training as a Restorative Justice Circle Keeper and practitioner.  As an artist, academic, and community advocate, I am exceptionally adept at curating, nurturing, and maintaining spaces that foster kindred connection and promote healthy well-being.
