Jascha Wachsmuth Temme

I am Jascha Wachsmuth-Temme, an IT security and compliance professional based in Berlin with extensive experience across large enterprises and dynamic startups. Currently, I serve as the IT Security Manager and Business Information Security Officer (BISO) at MBition GmbH, Mercedes Benz. In this role, I lead the IT security team, set priorities, manage programs, and create roadmaps while advising key stakeholders on risk management and regulatory compliance. I focus on creating transparency about the status of security implementations, supporting information owners, ensuring key performance indicators and objectives are met, and overseeing important security classifications and access control measures.

Alongside my corporate role, I work as a freelance consultant specializing in ISO 27001 readiness, C5 attestations, and DORA compliance. Recent projects include managing ISO certification preparations for an AI-driven insurance startup and leading readiness efforts for healthcare and fintech clients, demonstrating my capability in gap analysis, policy creation, remediation planning, and audit preparedness within regulated industries.

My career also includes positions as a senior cybersecurity consultant at Sopra Steria, where I developed IT-Grundschutz security guidelines and worked on zero trust strategies. I have served as an information security officer and business continuity manager for Quirin Privatbank AG and Quirion AG, where I designed and operated integrated management systems for information security, business continuity, and data protection, supporting compliance with strict regulations like BAIT, GDPR, and WpHG.

Earlier, I gained expertise working at ISiCO Datenschutz GmbH on ISMS certifications such as ISO 27001, C5, and TISAX, and developed data security concepts and training programs. I began my career as a consultant at secunet AG, focusing on critical infrastructure protections, live hacking campaigns, and ISMS guideline development.
