Career Profile
As a perpetual student, I have a deep love for learning. Preferring
to reframe problems as puzzles has led me into a career of
troubleshooting and pursuing knowledge wholeheartedly, with
tenacity, endless curiosity and excitement.
Throughout this career path, I have created diverse projects
utilizing different types of programming languages, technologies, and frameworks. Thus I am familiar with
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C, SQL, and have used React, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Rails,
Wordpress and Github. I also have a working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash and Powershell),
virtualization and containerization (through the use of Docker), PaaS (AWS), and RESTful API’s. I am
persistent in my goals of bringing ever-more acronyms into my realm of understanding through online courses,
tutorials, discord, Stack Overflow answers, and, as always, the growing mounds of documentation.
My previous occupations have demanded a detail-oriented perspective and the ability to plan and streamline
processes in a fast-paced environment. This has been an invaluable skill when plotting out projects, writing
code, and poring through error messages. I love people and working collaboratively, and I am also very capable
and enjoy operating singularly. Additionally, (recognizing full well that this may sound trite) I am able to receive
and learn from criticism in a positive manner.

course of my studies and personal journey. I am looking for a position I can dedicate myself to and grow within,
knowing that I am capable of solving my way through this strange world of never ending puzzles. It is a distinct
struggle to find your first job as a developer and understandably so. I required someone to believe in me and
allow me a chance to shine so I can share my own personal growth and success with the business. It may seem
strange to include a promise in a cover letter attached to my CV, but I promise that if given a chance you will not
be sorry. If nothing else I have an incredible work ethic and a can-do attitude that would be an asset to any
company.
