I taught kids and did freelance writing before I decided to take the huge step of working online. I was hired by an Australian Training Organization last 2012 which introduced me to the world of online jobs and I've loved every minute of it!

The RTO offered courses online and that's where I realized that learning can't be confined anymore within the walls of educational institutions. It was there that I was able to develop the following skills:

• Creating learning resources and assessment workbooks for online Early Childhood Education and Care and Training and Assessment Education courses
• Marking assessment tasks submitted by online VET learners
• Working with eLearning platforms and LMS sites
• Providing learner support via forum posts, email and phone
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google apps
• Phone and email etiquette
• Customer service
• Writing
• Online research

I have also worked part-time as an online English teacher to Japanese professionals.

I now work as part of the Customer Support team of another Australian company that offers online student support services to school, uni, and TAFE students.

I'd like to have more experience in working for companies and organizations that are involved in online education, training or learning. This is an exciting industry that I believe will keep on growing and I want to be a part of it.
