As a Behavioral Therapist, I have had the privilege of working closely with individuals and families in a wide range of settings. In this role, I developed strong skills in listening with empathy, adapting my communication style to meet the needs of each person, and building trust even in sensitive or challenging situations. These experiences taught me not only the value of compassion and patience, but also the importance of forging meaningful, lasting connections with people from all walks of life. I believe these qualities directly align with the heart of fundraising and development work, where authentic relationships are key to inspiring support and advancing an organization’s mission.
