Sales Department Reports to: Vice President Supervises: Sales Assistant Team Leader, Sales Assistant Staff and Purchasing Staff Dates Employed: 7-Oct-2014 – Present • Lead and guide the Sales Assistant Team Leader and Staff in handling customer inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution. • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer and supplier concerns; responsible for direct coordination with top management. • Assign new client accounts to appropriate Sales Assistant Staff for proper handling and follow-up. • Support the timely processing of urgent Purchase Orders and Price Quotations for both customers and suppliers. • Directly report key updates, concerns, and recommendations to the Vice President and other top-level executives. • Play an active role in strategic planning, monthly sales performance tracking, and the development of improvement initiatives. • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to new Sales Assistant team members. • Collaborate with Accounting and IMPEX (Import/Export) departments to ensure smooth and compliant transactions. • Monitor monthly sales targets and actual performance, reporting results and strategies to the management team. Additional Roles & Responsibilities ISO Core Team Member • Assist various departments with ISO compliance, documentation, and procedural requirements. • Review and provide feedback on ISO documents to ensure quality and consistency. • • • Help resolve elevated non-conformities and collaborate with Complaint Handling personnel. Support both internal and external ISO audits. Coordinate with corporate branches serving Non-PEZA or VAT-registered clients. Document Data Control Assistant (DDCA) • Manage the sales department’s control, distribution, and safekeeping of confidential company documents and records. • Maintain an up-to-date Master List of controlled documents, ensuring availability and access as needed. • Oversee the transition and archiving of documents for proper recordkeeping and compliance.
