Project Overview
This project focuses on creating Continuing Education (CE) content materials tailored
for community health workers practitioners. The materials are designed to meet
USAID guidelines approval standards, and key social work ethics and principles,
ensuring they support evidence-based interventions, ethical practice, and capacitybuilding.
Course: HIV/AIDS Care and Social Work Interventions
Objective:
Equip community health workers with comprehensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS,
including prevention, care, treatment, and psychosocial support, while aligning with
USAID’s PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) guidelines.

Course Overview
This course provides social workers, healthcare providers, and community-based
practitioners with in-depth knowledge of HIV/AIDS care, prevention strategies,
psychosocial support, and adherence to ethical social work principles. The course
aligns with USAID’s PEPFAR guidelines and standards to ensure quality care and
professional development.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will:
