INVESTIGATION REPORT
RE: STOLEN TURNBUCKLE FROM TB93-94 at TANA-ON PIPELINE

3. On 24 June 2024, a turnbuckle (Annex A) was reported stolen from TB93-94 Tanaon Pipeline located at Brgy.
Santiago, Manolo Fortich. This report aims to investigate the circumstances surrounding the theft, identify
suspects, and discuss the implication of such an incident.

The turnbuckle attached to Pipeline at TB93- 94, located at Brgy Santiago, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Was
reported stolen, the Serberus personnel, Mr. John Fabrigas who reported the incident, was unsure when was the
last time he saw the turnbuckle.
No direct eyewitnesses to the theft were identified.
CONCLUSIONS
6. The motive behind stealing the turnbuckle could range from financial gain (selling it as scrap metal), or to sabotage
(disrupting operations). Further investigation into the background of potential suspects may shed light on their
motives.
7. This incident highlights the need for enhanced security measures at where the pipelines are located to prevent
future thefts.
8. Theft of industrial equipment like turnbuckle constitutes criminal offense. Legal action will be pursued upon
identifying the perpetrators.

RECOMMENDATION:
9. Install additional CCTV cameras and improve their coverage.
10. Assign additional personnel to monitor the area during off- hours or non- operational hours.
11. Implement stricter access control measures.
12. Consider marking equipment with identifiable markings to deter theft.
Annex A
The investigation into the stolen turnbuckle is ongoing, with significant progress made in identifying the potential suspects
through CRO (Community Relations Officer). Enhanced security measures are recommended to mitigate the risk of future
thefts. Future updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
