Hi, I am a 25 year old professional Software Engineer from the United Kingdom who has been living in Berlin for the past 3 years. The highlights of my experience are the following:

• Full-Stack Software Engineer, proficient in Python, JavaScript, Lucene and Postgresql languages.
• Knowledgable on Django and Node.js frameworks.
• Officially trained Elasticsearch level II engineer. 
• Experience with web deployment and cluster management with Kubernetes and Jenkins.
• Experienced with Machine Learning, implementing product similarity, recommender and categorisation algorithms on large datasets.

My main interests in programming are in the areas of Machine Learning and Data Science, so I am looking to diversify my experience in these fields. 

I am a capable and hard worker and have proven myself over the past 2.5 years working as a developer. I started in my first company as the sole developer and wrote scripts to successfully automate processes in the departments of business intelligence, finance, delivery management and inventory management. I was then hired by my current company, a fast-growing eCommerce startup, and have been an important part of the tech team there, being responsible for the search engine and overseeing long-term projects on this. The tech team has grown from 6 to 20 people since I joined, and I have gained vital communication and organisational skills during this growing process.

My previous academic background in Mathematics and the logic I learnt there has allowed me to successfully solve diverse, complex and abstract problems as a developer and I will always strive to perform well and solve to the best of my ability any problem that is given to me.
