I’m a 3x Effie award-winning Art Director/Designer with a genuine desire to use my skills for a
greater good. I take a humanistic approach to the creative process through a balance between
conceptual and strategic thinking. During my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a
diverse group of clients, ranging from globally recognized Fortune 500 brands, bootstrapped
nonprofits and passionate independent entrepreneurs.

Serving as the key creative team leader, I provided conceptual and strategic direction for
Unilever’s Food/Refreshment and Personal Care portfolio of brands, including Hellmann’s,
Popsicle, Breyers, Dove, TRESemmé, among many others. As my role expanded beyond the duties
of a Sr. AD, I transitioned into a supervisorial role leading a team executing the highest volume
of work at the agency, directly overseeing a team of seven art directors and copywiters.

Additionally, my influence as a leader and mentor extended well beyond the creative department.
I continually helped build and strengthen relationships with my account teams in a client-facing
role, streamlined workflow processes with project management partners and provided creative
quality control while working directly with production artists. These efforts lead to two Effie
Awards for retail specific Shopper Marketing platforms.

Design and art direction, with experience in all phases of the creative process–concept through
production–for many well respected brands from Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay, Quaker, Del
Monte, and Mead Johnson, as well as direct-to-consumer pharmacutical brands such as Prilseoc
OTC, Align, Metamucil and Pepto Bismol. Through the understanding of the unique challenges
each retailer presents, I’ve been able to create specifically tailored campaigns resulting in an
Effie Award for a retail specific program.

My independent creative work allows me the freedom to pursue projects I’m most passionate
about. Whether it’s sports, the outdoors, book covers or social issues, I’ve been fortunate
enough to develop long-standing partnerships with individuals, small businesses and nonprofits
working in industries I admire, all the while allowing me to flex my creative muscle exploring a
full range of print, digital and experiential executions.
