I was responsible for choosing my own topic, researching and compiling data, targeting a new angle, and applying conservative commentary to the situation. Using Wordpress, I was responsible for building my entire post, from start to finish. I was also responsible for promoting my content online, utilizing several social media patforms. Contributing Writer, Everyday Conservative – Remote – March 2018-May 2018 My responsibilities, as a writer, included: Writing engaging articles based on reference content provided by my editor. I was on a strict deadline, given 2 hours to complete each project, which typically entailed a 300-500 word article. Based on the reference article and the title from my editor, I was tasked with researching the political issue, the specific news information, creating a new angle, and providing some conservative commentary. Contributing Writer, VatorNEWS– Remote – August 2017-October 2017 I was responsible for researching new and upcoming tech startups, who were seeking funding, for the purpose of creating an article to inform prospective investors. Most of my data was compiled through internet searches, relevant articles, and press releases. Department Lead Graphic Packaging - Oroville, CA - January 2014 to Present As the Finishing Department Lead, I am responsible for overseeing the production and personnel for our entire department. There are between 20 and 25 employees, who receive their daily assignments directly from me. I am responsible for ensuring all employees abide by company safety standards, as well as meet daily production requirements. Twice a day I am responsible for presenting a production report to my fellow Department Leads, Department Managers, and other members of upper management.
