I have been working as an Agribusiness analyst in my county to date in the wide ministry of Agriculture in Kenya. My main role have been and still is collecting structural and unstructured data from different sources, cleaning it , interpret and visualizing it . fetching valuable insights and patterns in the market ,representing the report in simple interactive dashboards for stakeholders to make informed decision.

While I give financial management training to relevant stakeholders ,I Come up with budgets in form of projects ,and implement concerned policies .Strongly supervising ,deploying and cancelling staff.

For policy formulation I have been taking a crucial corner by Formulating questionnaires for data capture ,ensuring the validity and reliability of the questionnaires .Linking relevant theories to the measurable scales per each variable either as mediator or moderator or as a direct influencer. Collect data of variables through items found in literature reviews .Ran the reliability test ,FACTOR analysis and then apply descriptive analysis and compliment it with inferential analysis to foster a comprehensive valuable insights that have been guiding policy making .Not forgetting to include appropriate theories anchored to why, how and what.

To ran my duties which are a mixture of data science and research I have found tools which are handy and I cannot do without which are R studio, SPSS, PYTHON,EXCEL,MSQL, Power BI and Tableau, Which has enable me to carry out tests depending on situation at hand. Test I usually employ are; Machine Learning, t.test, Chi-square, Anova and Sentiment analysis.

Learning has become part of my daily endeavor due to the ever changing nature of my work as a profession and the tools I use.

I fund it very appealing to work for companies all over the world including Qatar, Israel, Norway, Japan, Arizona and Nigeria
