James Kiesel

I'm a full stack web developer with over 8 years of industry experience. I have deep knowledge of Ruby (with or without Rails :) ), but have experience with many others including Node and Elixir. On the frontend, I've written production applications in React, Angular (1 and 6), Ember, and have experience with Vue. Also fairly experienced with DevOps, having used Docker, Capistrano, Mina, and various other deployment tools. I write tests for my code. :)

I believe strongly in the power of communication, and have lots of experience working with, mentoring, and training less experienced developers. I believe strongly in open source (you can check out nearly every line of code I've written over the past several years on my github), and offer discounts to folks working on open source projects, or who are willing to share the work they're doing with the development community.
