including the work request, project management and energy consumption
management modules.
Continually updated documentation to educate users on how to use new
modules, and updated modules, as they became available in the program.
Beta-tested software changes to perform firsthand research and gain an indepth understanding of the software; analyzed and validated software to

Continually interviewed and collaborated with Vannin’s in-house
development team to ensure technical documentation followed a logical
structure and was error-free.
Liaised with Vannin’s development team and end-users at the CBE to
gather feedback on how to further improve documentation, and ultimately

Central in the workplace.
Editorial Intern
RMV Publications
February 2012 to August 2012
Collaborated with the rest of the publishing team to write and edit prose into
clear, concise and rhythmically pleasing pieces for Where Canadian Rockies
Magazine.
Arranged and conducted extensive in-person interviews with subject
matter experts in Canmore and Banff; obtained and condensed information
into “hot tips”, sidebars and feature articles, effectively capturing complex
concepts in a few short paragraphs.
Composed restaurant reviews, wherein each unique atmosphere and
ambiance was vividly described in order to evoke the senses of each
reader.
Reviewed customer listings in the magazine; contacted customers and factchecked to ensure the information in their listings was still accurate, up-todate, and representational of their current products and services.
Sourced and selected photos, which paired with “hot tips”, sidebars and
feature articles in the magazine, to help paint a picture of the magazine’s
content in readers’ minds.
Followed the company’s internal style guides to ensure written prose
matched with other content appearing in the company’s publications, and
diligently proofread the magazine before publication to ensure the word
choice was optimal and the print was error-free.
